Piercing the Veil
This Mid-sized Island is among the most isolated around. It boasts a population of around a thousand, most children catching one of the yearly trade ships off and away before they even reach adulthood.
There is a single city nestled by the river, it’s sprawl stretching through the countryside, but still leaving most of the island’s wilderness relatively untouched. There was recently an outbreak of disease among the livestock, but a helpful Druid came on the last trade ship, and worked out the simple issue.
The local Fauna is fairly docile, only a few packs of wolves wandering near the town every few months or so. It’s a peaceful place, but according to local legend, it wasn’t always that way. Because of it’s remote location, it is said that Thar used to be an ideal pirate cove, used as a base by the leader of a sizable fleet.
